Amellia Tan Ying Hui (URECA)
Class of 2028
Amellia is a Year 2 undergraduate pursuing Psychology, and holds a strong interest towards developmental psychology and supporting children with special needs. Her interest in Child Development stems from her days as an Early Childhood Educator and Early Interventionist, where she honed a great passion in the field towards the inclusion of young minds of all abilities and developing curriculum that supports their needs. When away from work, Amellia also volunteers often, heading programmes to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds and youths with disabilities, or can be found snugly tucked in a couch enjoying comics and thriller books.

Lee Si En Jace (URECA)
Class of 2028
Jace is interested in developmental psychology, particularly in children’s cognitive development. Her interest was piqued when she learned how early experiences play a crucial role in shaping a child’s development. She hopes to engage in research in this area and translate these findings into practices that can meaningfully enhance children’s development.

Lim Jie Wei (URECA)
Class of 2028
Jie Wei is a Year 2 Psychology undergraduate. She is interested in social and cultural influences on human behaviour, particularly how education and early life experiences shape individual development. Outside of academics, Jie Wei enjoys journalling and exploring new places, both locally and overseas.

Chua Sym Tong (URECA)
Class of 2028
Sym Tong is a Year 2 undergraduate studying Psychology. She is particularly interested in developmental psychology, with a focus in early childhood development. Through research, she hopes to learn more about how environmental factors shapes a child’s growth. Growing up as an empathetic person, she enjoys working with children and hopes to continue doing so as a career in the future. Outside of school, she also enjoys long distance running.

Ng Kailin, Joan (URECA)
Class of 2025
Joan is a Year 4 Psychology and Biological Sciences undergraduate, and her passion lies in understanding the human mind and behaviour. What fascinates her is the dynamic interplay of social and cultural influences on human behaviour – which hold relevant implications in the realm of childhood development and learning. Beyond academics, she enjoys indulging in music and loves to channel her creativity through art, particularly through charcoal drawings.
